ESPN, I answer your question with another question: "Is America ready to care?" Danica Patrick may be a great example for young women but as far as actual skill is concerned, she's the most overhyped racer in any league.

So, I drove out to Madison last night to see Rhythm and Booms (fireworks performed while a radio station broadcasts synchronized music). We made it to about 8p.m. and they cancelled because of a storm West of us moving East. Bogus. I blame God. Spent the rest of the night with a movie on TBS starring Bruce Willis and Sarah Jessica Parker back when she was good looking.

Went down to Summerfest last night. Arrived around 3:15, watched an entirely subpar band play for about 15 minutes, and as many of you know, the power went out. Most of the Third Ward, including all of Summerfest, without power. I owe it all to my friend Miller Lite for keeping the next 3 hours interesting, with additional props to Pat McCurdy for coming out with his acoustic to play to us from the front bleacher. Most entertainers wouldn't do that; they still get paid the same. REO Speedwagon came on as scheduled and performed a great show.
